It’s Monday again … which means another opportunity to chase wonder together through our weekly discussion.
This week, I’m drawing from Jen Pollock Michel’s discussion question from Day 12 of A Habit Called Faith: See, know, love, obey, live: To which of these five words of faith do you react the most? Why?
By the way, if you are reading along with us in the Summer Reading Club, don’t forget we’re on day 11 today!
Cathy, your comment seems so insightful and raises a lot of questions for me. I wonder ... how do you use what you see "against the beauty of things"? Does it create discontent or jealousy? (That's me projecting my own issues on your comment!) Or is it something else?
Right now I'm feeling more discontent. Seems like so much unhappiness. Everything is either being protested, shot and killed, no money, etc. I try not to watch much news, but wherever u go there seems to have discontent .
Just like with the five senses, "see" in this list seems to resonate with me the most. It makes me wonder how I can live into the others better, though.
Mine is love, how I love fiercely, how can I love more, how can I love all? Great question!
I love all these different directions you've gone just off the word love, Kim. So much to think about.
See is what I seem to be best at. I try to use it positively but sometime I use it against the beauty of things.

I think see, as I see so many beautiful things in God's creation...in nature and in people.
