Charity, what a treat to see The Wonder Report back on Substack! Thank you for your provocative comments on culture creation. Food for thought most definitely!

You are an author I will stop to read when your name/work comes up on my screen.

Still love your book, On Being A Writer! It helped me move from writer to author this past year as I co-authored a devotional book with several writing friends.

So glad to see you back with The Wonder Report!

Thank you,

Lori Anderson

Your reflection on culture and these plainly-put but profound questions are a wonderful way to start my day.

Your writing is such a blessing!

Echoing others to say how glad I am to see your words here again! And these words resonate for me as a writer who is trying to influence our culture to care and tend the earth better. Like you, I have no expectation that my work will be around in 400 years, but I hope that by fostering a community that cares about the same things I do, perhaps the ripple effects on the environment might be a benefit that lasts. This is one good reason to write in community and I’m grateful for this one here!

It's so good to hear from you, Laura! I love that you mentioned community as a way to foster culture creation and to do good in the world. In today's post (coming soon), I discuss the communal nature of culture creation more. I like the idea of ripple effects as a result of our culture creation ... for most of us, I think that's a realistic expectation of our work's effects on the world. Thanks for joining me here!
